Avengers: Endgame (also known as Avengers 4 ) is a superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the 22nd North Dakota film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is a sequel to Avengers: Infinity War. In Infinity War, Thanos erases half the universe, and in Avengers 4 the remaining Avengers must band together to deal with the consequences.

Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America

Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man
A genius, playboy, billionaire and philanthropist who makes his own armor. A key member of the Avengers, Tony Stark played by Robert Downey Jr is stranded in space after the events of Infinity Way and must find a way home to help the Avengers stop Thanos.
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk
Simply put, Bruce Banner is a scientist who, as a result of exposure to gamma radiation, turns into a huge green monster when agitated or angry. He is also unquestionably one of the strongest Avengers. This character was played by Mark Ruffalo.
Chris Hemsworth as Thor
Thor is the king of Asgard and the god of thunder. He currently wields a magic ax called Stormbreaker after his hammer, Mjolnir, was destroyed in Thor: Ragnarok. Like many other Avengers, Chris Hemsworth/Thor has a score to settle with Avengers 4 villain Thanos
Scarlett Johanson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
Natasha Romanoff played by Scarlett Johanson, also known as Black Widow, is a former agent of SHIELDD and a member of an original member of the Avengers. She debuted with MCU Iron Man 2 and appeared in The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, The Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers 4 (Endgame).
Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton
A former Avenger who has a new outfit in the movie that is similar to Ronin’s from the comics. Jeremy Renner, who played Clint Barton, is also one of the original six Avengers and joined the team as ‘Hawkeye’, an agent of SHIELD.
Brie Larson as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel
Simply put, Carol Danvers is an ex-pilot whose DNA was altered following an accident that gave her superpowers. She debuted with the 2019 film Captain Marvel but will join the team in Avengers 4 to help undo Thanos’ attack. The character was played well by Brie Larson.
Karen Gillan as Nebula
One of Thanos’ adopted daughters, Nebula was raised alongside Gamora. Nebula is determined to kill her father for the emotional and psychological torture he inflicted on her and for what he did to her sister Gamora. Karen Gillan played this character.
Danai Gurira as Okoye
Okoye played by Danai Gurira debuted in Black Panther and immediately became a fan favorite. She is a skilled fighter and the general of all of Wakanda’s elite female soldiers, the Dora Milaje.
Bradley Cooper as Rocket Racoon
A resourceful, genetically engineered raccoon skilled in combat tactics and weapons. His character played by Bradley Cooper is one of the original members of the Guardians of the Galaxy and is the last surviving member of the Guardians.
Gwyneth Paltrow as Virginia “Pepper” Potts
Pepper Potts is Tony Stark’s fiancée and the CEO of Stark Industries. Her character was introduced in the very first MCU movie Iron Man and since her debut, she has continued to appear infrequently in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is expected to reappear in Avengers 4 (Endgame) although the extent of her role has not been revealed. Gwyneth Paltrow will play the role.
Josh Brolin as Thanos
Thanos is the main villain of Avengers: Infinity War who managed to wipe out half the universe with all six Infinity Stones. He should return to his villainous role in Avengers 4 (Endgame) . The actor playing this character will be Josh Brolin.
Benedict Wong as Wong
Wong is one of the masters of the mystical arts who protects Kamar-Taj’s most precious relics and books. He joined the MCU with 2016’s Doctor Strange and reprized his role in Avengers: Infinity War.
Don Cheadle as James Rhodes / War Machine
An Avenger who harnesses War Machine Armor, James Rhodes is Tony Stark’s best friend. Although he’s been a part of the MCU since the very beginning, his role in the movies has only grown more prominent with these latest entries and his role as the Avenger began with Avengers: Age of Ultron. This character is played by Don Cheadle.
Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man
Scott Lang played Paul Rudd is a former criminal and single father who has a suit that allows him to shrink or grow in size and strength. This character was first introduced in the 2015 film, Ant-Man and received critical acclaim. Although he hasn’t played a crucial role in the previous Avengers films, his role should be significant in Avengers 4.
Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan
Happy Hogan is Tony Stark’s chauffeur and bodyguard. The character was first introduced to the MCU with the very first movie, Iron Man which was released in 2008. Since then, he has appeared in several MCU films. It’s fitting to be part of Avengers 4 (Endgame) as it was such an integral part of the beginning of the cinematic universe.

Brock Rumlow/Crossbones played by Frank Grillo and Valkyrie played by Tessa Thompson also reprise their roles from Marvel Cinematic Universe Films. Hiroyuki Sanada, Katherine Langford and Joe Russo’s daughter Ava were cast in undisclosed roles and Stan Lee has a posthumous cameo in the film.
Update and release date
Avengers 4: Endgame, which was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, was released on April 26, 2019. The movie is expected to be longer than the average MCU movie, especially because there’s a lot to tie up. The running time of the film has been confirmed at 3 hours and 2 minutes. At that length, it would be Marvel Studio’s longest film, smashing the Avengers: Infinity War record which ran for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Avengers 4 (Endgame) was originally supposed to be released on May 3, 2019, but is slated for release sometime in April, much to the delight of fans who can’t wait to see how Marvel plans to close this epic chapter.
With a movie like this, rumors abound. One of the biggest rumors is that a key character, Hawkeye, will become “Ronin” in this movie. The rumor arose following Twitter photos tweeted by Marvel showing Jeremy Renner covering his costume with a trench coat, but wearing gold and black boots to match Ronin’s.
Given Marvel’s reputation for secrecy, a suspicious number of leaks surrounding Avengers 4: Endgame . A lot of people think it’s not unreasonable to believe that Marvel leaked fake spoilers in order to prevent real spoilers from leaking. There have been paparazzi shots, casting calls, star interview mistakes and social media leaks. Considering this wouldn’t be the first time the Russo Brothers used misdirection, none of these theories and rumors could be true. They did with the Infinity War trailer, so we have to accept that it’s a possibility, however difficult that may be.
Avengers 4 Rumors
There is also speculation that time travel may be adopted in Avengers 4. Most of the speculation is based on leaked photos which show many of the original Avengers dressed in costumes that look exactly like the ones they wore in 2012. – The Avengers. Speculation is that the team will travel back to the Battle of New York. It must be admitted, however, that time travel is generally difficult to achieve and complicates the continuity of the plot. There are more satisfying ways to end the fight against Thanos, ways that won’t leave audiences a bit confused and deceived. Marvel’s leaked photos might just be another ploy to distract us from their current plan.
- Tony Stark And Pepper Potts Baby
Tony Stark and Pepper Potts are supposed to have a baby in Avengers 4 (Endgame). Gwyneth Paltrow, in an interview, mentioned that the couple “started a family”. Most Marvel fans aren’t sure whether to believe this rumor, however, anything is possible.
Reshoots for Avengers 4: Endgame will include more Wakanda scenes, much to the delight of fans. The producers might have just decided to capitalize on the success of Black Panther and considering the vital role the country played in Infinity War, that’s really no surprise.
One of the most popular theories is that Avengers4 (Endgame) is going to involve a time jump. Of course, this has not been confirmed, but many clues point to it. leaked photos of gray-haired Robert Downey Jr, the rumor about Pepper and Tony’s child, and the casting of an older actress to play Scott’s daughter, Cassie Lang. The time jump would provide a more interesting starting point than the immediate effect of the catastrophe wrought by Thanos in Infinity War. This will help fans see how the heroes are doing.

A confrontation between Nebula and her adoptive father, Thanos, has also been rumored. Nebula has nothing but hatred for her father at this point, especially after the sacrifice of her sister, Gamora, to restore balance to the universe.
- Last of Chris Evans as Captain America
This movie could be Chris Evans’ last time playing Captain America. He had extended his contract so he could star in Avengers 4: Endgame, and after it was picked up, he tweeted a goodbye and, thanks to the character, the cast, and the entire crew. Rumor has it that there is likely to be a scene in which he has to sacrifice his life for his friends and we can only hope, at the very least, that his exit isn’t permanent.
