Brittney Griner, a member of the Phoenix Mercury, was reportedly arrested in Russia last month when she was discovered with vaping cartridges.
According to The New York Post, Griner was arrested in February when investigators discovered “vape cartridges in her carry-on luggage at a Moscow airport.” According to such accounts, the cartridges contained cannabis oil.
A video obtained from the Russian Federal Customs Service purports to show Griner having her bag checked at a Russian airport. The veracity of the footage is currently being investigated by ABC News. read more
