The comedian was born as Anthony Jamal Bean on February 20, 1987, his birth was in Washington, D.C. He was born into a black American family. His father, however, died when he was two years old. He was reportedly killed in the street, along with his five other family members. The comedian was raised by a single mother; Chico Bean had an unstable childhood as her mother struggled to give her a better life.
