In addition to the trio Magnolia, Chip and Joanna own Magnolia House, an exclusive vacation rental where a night costs $695 and up and is usually booked six months to a year in advance. They publish a quarterly home improvement magazine which, according to statistics, has up to 700,000 subscribers who pay $20 a year.
On top of all that, they have a line of premium interior paints that sell for around $46 a gallon. So there really is no need to buy the paint elsewhere if they are fixing your house.

“Nothing came easy. We have worked so hard to have this beautiful family and this farm. It really sounds like the American dream you heard about growing up.
“Jo and I have really created certain boundaries for each other and that helps us thrive. I’m her biggest cheerleader when it comes to the things she dabbles in, and vice versa, in my category. Just encourage each other’s strengths and don’t be so specific that you always get pissed off.

As they say, there is no star without scandal. No projector without controversy right?
Although the usual divorce saga, Chip and Jo have had a scandal or two after their busy and fabulous lives. In April, a lawsuit caused an uproar after Chip’s former Magnolia Real Estate partner sued him for $1 million.
