Eating disorders are one of today’s major health issues. According to Dr. Joanna Silver, a well-known Eating Problem Specialist, so-called “wellbeing advice” and restrictive diets give rise to an eating disorder. She claims that social media fads such as “Clean Eating,” “Diet Restriction,” and “Veganism” are unfounded and dangerous.

Let’s be real. We’re all fed up with videos, blog articles, and Instagram hashtags from so-called influencers lecturing about eating disorders. According to data, 60 million “Clean Eating” and “Eating Disorder” Instagram hashtags will be posted in 2022. Clinical psychologists, such as Jordan B. Peterson, contend that marketing hashtags cause psychological distress and eating disorders.
