Jaime Little was born on April 9, 1978, and her birth took place in South Lake Tahoe, California. She is the second of four children born to Thomas Little and Laura Thomas. His father was a former cruise ship chef while Jamie’s mother was an interior designer. Although the names of her siblings are not revealed, we do know that she has an older sister and two younger brothers. When she was still very young, her parents divorced, and as a result of this, Jaime and her siblings later had to move to Nevada with their mother.
Little attended Greenspun High School, Nevada. His love for sports began when he was in high school. She attended Green Valley High School, Nevada. In high school, Jamie made sure to participate in various sports. She was on his high school lacrosse team. Jaime Little also played basketball and also wrestled.
After graduating from high school, she continued her studies at the University of San Diego. In college, Little majored in sports journalism and earned her bachelor’s degree in 2001.
Career
Jaime Little began her career as a Journalist at ABC in 1996. She started working at ABC as an intern. After she completed her internship program, the TV station retained her. Little started working as a field reporter and later working as a news anchor.
She resigned from ABC in 1998 and in the same year she was hired by popular sports network ESPN to start working as an assistant reporter. While with ESPN, Little covered the Winter and Summer X Games for ESPN. She has covered different sports tournaments like hockey and football.
The talented sports journalist started covering motorsport in 2007 and since then she has earned an excellent reputation as a specialist pit reporter. She covered the Indy Racing League from 2007 to 2008. Besides, she also covered other sporting events including Indianapolis 500, Firestone 550 and NASCAR all under ESPN. She then spent some time away from reporting, but returned in January 2010 to cover Snowmobile Xe Motocross.
