Kushner was born on January 10, 1981 in Livingston, New Jersey with the birth name Jared Corey Kushner. He attended Frisch, a Modern Orthodox yeshiva high school in Paramus, New Jersey, after which he enrolled at Harvard University in 1999 and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. He also attended New York University and graduated in 2007 with an LLM and MA degree.
