At one time it was rumored that Pfautch had lost her son. It came after her husband tried to make his fans realize their mistakes when he tweeted that he had lost three family members in the space of three years explaining what the definition of ugly was.
It turned out that her husband was referring to his son with his former girlfriend. The boy died in infancy in 2007.
