In March 2014, Lowe, also a New Zealand native, took to his blog named Ono Field to write a heartfelt post about his relationship with Lorde. In his post, titled “Everyone Comes Back Someday,” Lowe begins by mentioning Lorde’s praise before confessing how much he misses her while on tour.

“Currently, she is on tour on the other side of the world. Although I miss her, I couldn’t be prouder of what she has achieved so far…” the photographer wrote.

Lowe described her experiences with cyberbullying as a blessing; “The negatives are just a small part of my world now,” adding that there is a “bright ray of hope to this thing I was exposed to.”

Despite Lowe’s positive tone about his experience with the media, their relationship took a hit in 2015 when they split. It was a sad experience for dear Lorde who did a Taylor Swift writing her feelings in the song Green Lights. As she told Zane Lowe on his Apple Beats 1 Radio show, her breakup with Lowe was her “first big tear.”

At the start of 2018, Lorde was romantically linked to her longtime collaborator, Jack Antonoff. However, as Justin Warren immediately denied the rumors via a post on his Twitter page.
