Natascha McElhone is a British-Irish actress who performs on stage and screen.
The gorgeous actress whose real name is NatashaAbigail Taylor, known as Natascha McElhone, was born on December 14, 1969 in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, England to a journalist couple, Noreen McElhone and Michael Taylor.
When she was just 2 years old, the marriage between Natascha’s parents had broken down and her Irish mother had by then moved to Brighton to remarry journalist and columnist Roy Greenslade.
For reasons better known to the actress, she chose to adopt her mother’s maiden name as her stage name.
Natascha McElhone has a brother, Danom, a screenwriter living in Los Angeles and two half-brothers, Alexander and Nicholas, both residing in Stockholm.
As a child, who took Irish dancing lessons from age 6 to 12, had her early education at St. Mary’s Hall Girls’ School, a private boarding school in Brighton, Sussex.
During her studies, she also took acting lessons and enrolled at the Academy of Music and Drama in London, where she graduated in 1993.

Natascha McElhone married on May 19, 1998, Dr. Martin Hirigoyen Kelly, plastic surgeon.
The couple lived in Fulham, west London, with their sons Theodore (born 2000) and Otis (born May 2003). their third son, Rex, was born in October 2008, five months after Kelly’s death.
Martin Kelly, 42, a renowned plastic surgeon, had just returned from surgery late at night when he collapsed outside his door after suffering a suspected heart attack.
His wife, pregnant with their third child, was reportedly “completely devastated”. The news was passed to her in Los Angeles where she was filming the television drama Californication.
His body was found by a surgeon friend in the Minutes after returning from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where he was an NHS consultant, he visited the lobby of the family’s £2.5million home.
He was brought back to the hospital by ambulance where the doctors tried in vain to resuscitate their colleague. One of the shocking death hypotheses was that the surgeon’s heart could have been damaged by a recent viral infection.
The surgeon and actress were about to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary and had known each other since they were teenagers.
The autopsy report ultimately indicated death was due to dilated cardiomyopathy.
