The Street Boys were certainly a sensation everyone (especially the ladies) drooled over after the throwback to the 1990s. They were a group of young men who were talented in the art of music and looked to sell it. Backstreet Boys was formed in Orlando, Florida in 1993 by five young men. One of those savvy gentlemen was our own blonde god, Nick Carter.
Born on January 28, 1980, Nick is probably best known as a member of the now defunct former Backstreet Boys, as although he had a solo career that sold very well, he was mostly popular within the group. The American musician was born in Jamestown, New York, to his mother Jane Elizabeth Schneck and his father, Robert Gene Carter, a bar owner. Nick’s ethnicity is mixed with his mother being of Welsh, Irish, German, English and one-quarter American descent. Nick was the first of five children his parents had together before their marriage fell apart.
Career – Beginnings
For Nick Carter, his career path was shaped early on when his mother signed him up for singing and voice lessons at Karl and DiMarco’s acting and dance school. He was ten years old at the time and was learning ballet, tap dancing and excelling too. His excellence won him many favors as he soon performed in commercials and operas. He has featured in commercials for the Florida State Lottery and another for The Money Store. Even better, he played the lead role in the fourth grade production of The Phantom of the Opera at Miles Elementary School.
Once he started, nothing could stop him. While performing in dance, he did his best to entertain but also to educate. He made a video he called Reaching the Book as well as a show called The Klub and for two years in a row Carter had the golden opportunity to perform at Buccaneers home games in Tampa Bay. His band days began in 1989 when one of his teachers, seeing how well he sings, formed a band for him and a few other kids. The band – Nick and the Angels would go on to wow everyone, especially as Nick soon made the cover of several songs by various other artists. The collection of these songs was later compiled into what was named Before the Backstreet Boys 1989-1993 Dynamic Discs, Inc released in October 2002.
At the age of 11, Nick began attending auditions, including that of the Backstreet Boys, but was unsuccessful as his mother would prefer him to join Disney. The Mickey Mouse club that seemed most likely to help him succeed in college. Moreso, Backstreet was new and didn’t have much to offer so The Mickey Mouse Club offered him a $50,000 contract. Nick chose Backstreet and it was certainly a wise move as Disney quickly canceled the Mickey Mouse club.
Backstreet Boys and the Solo Career of Nick Carter
At the time the group was formed, Nick was 13 years old and the youngest member of the group which included AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson. The group caused a sensation and recorded several albums, including the latest Dans un monde comme ce-ci (2013). He began to nurture his solo ambition while the band was still going strong, and when the band decided to part ways with The Firm as a management company, he stayed with them to build his solo career. The band continued without him as they recorded their successful solo albums. Her first solo album Now or Never (2002) peaked at No. 17 on the BillboardChart 200 and was certified gold, in the United States and Canada with two single hits Help Me and I Got You.
While still the best thing to do with his chocolates, Nick Carter made it to #9 on People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People list in 2000. As if that wasn’t enough, he beat out guys like Brad. The official ceremony was followed by a reception in the ballroom featuring great food and lots of dancing. The two welcomed their first child together, a son, on April 19, 2016, through a home birth, and named him Odin Reign Carter.
Apart from her role as a physical trainer, Lauren Kitt is also a part-time actress and producer having worked on a short film called The Pendant in 2010. She appeared as a boot camp instructor in the 2013 ABC soap opera A life to live.
Family – brother, sister
Carter may be her parents’ first child together, but he’s certainly not the last. His parents Jane Elizabeth Schneck and Robert Gene Carter followed four other children. Bobbie Jean was born on January 12, 1982, Leslie was born on June 6, 1986, and twins Aaron and Angel were born on December 7, 1987. However, Leslie died on January 12, 1982. Carter also has a half-sister, Ginger Carter marriage precedent of the father.
In 2003, his parents divorced and his father remarried to a Ginger R. Elrod with whom he had another son, Kaden Brent, in 2005. So he has a total of 5 siblings.
It’s no news that Carter and her younger brother Aaron haven’t been on the best of terms since the first season of their family TV show. Housing chamber.
