The comic star was born as Peter John Kay on July 2, 1973, in Farnworth, Lancashire, England, to Margaret Deirdre O’Neill and her husband, Michael John Kay. His father was an engineer who allegedly died before Peter’s career began. Both of his parents are Catholic and Peter was also raised in the same religion.
