Ryan Buell is a television personality and author best known for his role as the host of the television show. Paranormal state. He was raised in South Carolina and still visits as often as possible. Buell’s name has been the subject of much controversy. Some say his accomplishments are about as numerous as his wrongdoings, but the truth remains that he is still a man who inspires many. Even though he’s done a handful of shady things, he’s admired for his career accomplishments.

Ryan Daniel Buell was born on July 8, 1982 in Corry, Pennsylvania. He was raised by his mother, Shelly Bonavita Lundberg. He is married to Paranormal State colleague Sergey Poberezhny. His mother, Shelley Lundberg, reportedly remarried and had other children.

He was on the debate team at his top school and acted in plays. During this time in high school, he became editor of his school newspaper. Besides that, he created a daily news program with a friend. After high school, Ryan earned a degree in journalism and anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.

At age 19, while still in college, he pioneered the Paranormal Research Society. All the work he did there was valuable experience that he used for the TV show Paranormal State. Buell created and coordinated the show (Paranormal State) and his good work led him to become the film’s executive producer. American Ghost Hunter, which was released in 2010.

In 2011, Buell announced a 41-city tour of the film. He also co-produced Ghost Prophecies. The final episode of Paranormal State aired in May 2011 after Buell and his team made the decision to end the series. It was his fifth season.

1. Ryan Buell is bisexual

Buell is bisexual, he mentioned it through his Facebook account in 2010. He also explained this in his book titled Paranormal State: My Journey into the Unknown, a memoir explaining his sexuality and religion. He attempted to explain how he was both bisexual and Catholic.

According to him, his sexuality was not a sufficient reason to avoid his Catholic beliefs. Growing up in a Catholic family, he encouraged others in similar situations to do the same.

2. He lied about cancer

In July 2012, Ryan Buell announced that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He expressed his gratitude to fans and people who sympathized with him. In turn, he sympathized with others with cancer and other illnesses. He advised them to keep going, insisting they knew how they felt as he also braced himself for the possibility of dying. Buell in a 2013 interview said he was close to receiving remission.

However, when her mother was asked about her health, she denied her claim. It turned out that he had always lied about his medical condition. His mother said she kept quiet about Buell because he was her baby and she wanted to protect him. According to her, a mother would do anything to protect her child, however, Buell was only hurting herself and she wasn’t going to cover him anymore.

Buell was arrested twice. The first was in September 2016, when he was arrested in Florence County, South Carolina. He was brought back to Pennsylvania and charged with receiving stolen property and theft. After a month, he was released on bail.

Ryan Buell was also arrested in April 2017 on assault charges. After his release, he wrote on a blog about how he struggled with drugs, which led him to make most of the bad decisions he had made. He explained that getting arrested was the motivation he needed to change his ways and added that he had embraced rehab and was getting his life back on track.
