6.2-magnitude earthquake shakes Hawaii

The 11th of October (UPI) — Officials reported shaking across Hawaii's Big Island after a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck off the island's south coast. The earthquake struck 17 miles south-southeast of Naalehu, Hawaii, at 11:53 a.m., causing "strong shaking" throughout the Hawaiian islands, though only "very minor damage" to buildings or structures may have occurred.
