Imagine the world with people who possess superhuman powers and can do things beyond what the ordinary human mind can comprehend. Of course, these people are only found in movies and TV shows like The Gifted, Powers, Marvel’s The Inhumans, Looper, Cloak And Dagger, and The Chronicle.

The Gifted, in particular, has gained a lot of attention due to the fact that it was inspired by the stories from the X-Men comic books. The American TV series, The Gifted, had an exciting first season but an even better second season with more powerful scenes. The second season of the series introduced some old faces from the comics while many new characters were created for the TV series.

The show’s plot revolved around two parents trying to keep their children safe by fleeing underground as the government rounds up people who possess mutant abilities. In order to protect their children, the gifted children are tricked into joining a sect of the mutant community that is also on the run from the government. In the second season of The Gifted, the mutants continue their fight for mutant civil rights. The season also introduces the Morlocks and further explores the terrorist organization, the Purifiers. Let’s meet some of the cast from Season 2 of Gifted.

The English actor and director stars in the series as Reed Strucker, a district attorney who tries to balance his family while taking on the responsibility of keeping his teenage mutants safe from harm. Reed Strucker is the husband of Caitlin Strucker and the father of Lauren and Andy Strucker in The Gifted

Amy Acker as Caitlin Strucker

In The Gifted Cast, the female lead – Caitlin Strucker is portrayed by American actress Amy Acker. Amy’s character, Caitlin Strucker is a nurse and wife of Stephen Moyer’s character, Reed Strucker. Her character is also the mother of teenage mutants – Lauren and Andy. Her character in the series is a normal human mom and nurse with no mutant abilities.

Amy Acker began her acting career when she was 22, in 1998. She was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Southern Methodist University. Amy has been married to fellow countryman James Carpinello since 2003 and the couple have two children together. Amy has starred in several other TV series such as Angel, Alias, Person of Interest, Happy Town and Dollhouse

Sean Teale as Marcos Diaz

Sean stars as Marcos Diaz, a powerful rebel mutant who possesses the power to absorb and manipulate photons. Her character’s signature name is Eclipse. Marcos Diaz’s parents abandoned him as soon as they saw he had mutant abilities, leaving Diaz to fall into bad company and do odd jobs to survive.

Sean Teale is an English actor born on June 18, 1992, in London, England. He started his acting career in 2010 and has already starred in more than 16 movies and TV series. His most notable appearances in television series are Règne, where he was cast as Louis de Condé; in Skins, where he appeared in 18 episodes of the series as Nick Levan in the 5th and 6th seasons; in Mr. Selfridge, where he was cast as Franco in ten episodes of the show’s second season; and in Incorporated, where he played the lead role, Ben Larson.

Natalie Alyn Lind as Lauren Strucker

Natalie Lind plays the character of one descynosure mutant kid on the show – Lauren Strucker. Her character in the series has the mutant ability to create force fields. Lauren is the daughter of Caitlin Strucker and Reed Strucker, as well as the sister of Andy Strucker.

The American actress was born on June 21, 1999. Her mother is Barbara Alyn Woods and she has two younger sisters who are also actresses, Emily Alyn Lind and Alyvia Alyn Lind. Her character on The Gifted is her biggest role since she began her professional acting career in 2006. Percy Hynes White as Andy Strucker

Percy White was cast in the series as Andy Strucker, who possessed the power of telekinesis, the ability to move objects with the power of his thoughts. He is one of the central children of the series. He is the son of Reed and Caitlin Strucker, as well as Lauren’s younger brother. White’s character on the show is a loner who prefers to keep things to himself.

Coby Bell’s character on the show as JaceTurner is one of the show’s villains and main cast member. Turner is a Sentinel Services agent tasked with finding and rounding up the Struckers as well as the other mutants.

Jamie Chung as Clarice Fong

The Gifted series also has the character Clarice Fong, who is played by Jamie Chung. Chung’s character is called Blink, a mutant who has the ability to teleport. She uses her ability to get out of unpleasant situations. His character can be described as an “independent-minded” member of the mutant underground, and who is lively and sarcastic.

Chung is a Korean-American actress born on April 10, 1983, in San Francisco, California. She and her older sister were born to Korean parents who immigrated to the United States. Jamie Chung attended and graduated from Lowell High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California. A year before the ex-reality star graduated from college, she starred in 28 episodes of the MTV reality show The Real World: San Diego; the show marked her screen debut. She has since starred in films such as Dragonball: Evolution, Adults, The Hangover Part II, Sucker Punch, and Big Hero 6. On the television stage, she was chosen to play the main character Samuraiand had recurring roles on other television series such as Gotham, Resident Advisors, Believe, Once Upon a Time and Days of Our Lives. The actress is married to fellow entertainment industry colleague Bryan Greenberg.

Skyler Samuels as Sisters Frost

Skyler Samuels portrays the roles of the Frostsisters – Esme, Sophie and Phoebe. The triplets all have the same mutant power, telepathy – the ability to communicate directly through psychic means. The sisters are part of “The Inner Circle”, a group that is among the antagonists of the second season.

Skyler Samuels was born on April 14, 1994 and she is an actress and model. She was raised by her parents Kathy and Scott Samuels. She is the only daughter in the family and was raised alongside her three brothers, Jack, Harrison and Cody. Samuels studied at Stanford University and earned a degree in marketing and intellectual property. She played the lead role of Chloe King in the television series The Nine Lives of Chloe King. She has also played leading roles in television series such as The Doors and Scream Queens

Blair Redford as John Proudstar

Also included in The Gifted cast is Blair Redford who stars in the series as the leader of the mutant underground community, John Proudstar and goes by the codename Thunderbird. His character possesses the mutant abilities of superhuman senses, strength, toughness, stamina, and speed. He is also a trained hand-to-hand combatant.
