Tim Armstrong is one of the mainstays that has remained on the American punk rock scene from the 1990s to this day. The veteran is popular as the vocalist and guitarist of the renowned band Rancid, as well as the supergroup Transplant, although his career took off long before the band achieved popularity. The revered musician also works as a songwriter, producer and actor.

He is an American by nationality and his ethnicity is white. The identity of his mother is not known to the public, but it was what he was given, it was she who raised him. Tim’s father has been identified as Don Armstrong, who died aged 81 in June 2012.
