Little Mix are a British girl group formed during the eighth season of The X Factor. The group was formed in 2011 and managed to become the first group to win the competition. After winning the contest, they signed to Syco Music, Simon Cowell’s label and released a cover version of Cannonball by Damien Rice as their winner’s single.
Later, they released their debut album, ADN, in 2012. The album reached the top 10 in several countries including the US and UK; making them the first girl group since the Pussycat Dolls to break into the top 5 in the United States with their debut album. They also managed to break a record held by the Spice Girls by earning the highest debut in the United States by a British girl group.
Their second album, Saluter, was released in 2013 and also charted in the top ten in several countries. The main singles from the album – Saluter and Bouge toi – also reached the top ten charts in the UK.
In 2015, they released their third studio album, Devenir bizare. Getting Weird was their most successful album to date. The album’s lead single, Black Magic, not only went to number one in the UK, it was also nominated for two awards at the 2016 Brit Awards.
Their next album was released in 2016 and it became their first UK number one album. It also became the girl group’s longest running number one album since the Spice Girls’ debut album two decades earlier. The album featured the incredible hit of the hit song – Shoutout to My Ex, as well as Touch and Power.
The song, Shout Out to My Ex, won Best British Single at the 2017 Brit Awards. It also won more awards at the Glamor Awards, Teen Choice Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards.
By 2016, the group had eleven certified singles and four platinum-certified albums in the UK, cementing their status as the best-selling girl group of all time. They are also hailed as one of the most successful female musicians in modern British pop culture. In addition to all this, the members of the group are also considered among the most influential personalities in the UK.

Perrie Edwards
Perrie was born Perrie Louise Edwards on the 10th of July 1993 to Deborah Duffy and Alexander Edwards. She was brought up in the Whiteleas area of South Shields. Caitlin Edwards, her younger half-sister and older brother, Jonnie. She also attended Radipole Primary School in Weymouth before moving to South Shields. She also attended St. Peter and Paul RC Primary Schools in South Shields before joining Mortimer Community College. At Mortimer Community College, she achieved excellent academic results. She then transferred to Newcastle College where she completed a BTEC in Performing Arts.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock
On October 4, 1991, Leigh-Anne Pinnockwas born. Leigh-Anne, who has Jamaican and Barbadian heritage, was raised in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Before joining Little Mix and becoming successful, she was a waitress at Pizza Hut.
She sang Rihanna ( The Only Girl in the World) for her first audition on The X-Factor.

jesy nelson
Jesy was born Jessica Louise Nelson on the 14th of June 1991. She was raised in East London by her parents, Janice White and John Nelson, with two brothers – Jonathan and Joseph – and an older sister, Jade.
She attended Jo Richardson Community School for her secondary education. Later, she also attended Abbs Cross Academy and Arts College Essex, where she noticed her love for music and drama. She also later attended Sylvia Young and Yvonne Rhodes acting schools to further her education.
