Katelyn Jae is a singer-songwriter who is on her way to music stardom. A blossoming start, Jae began creating her own music as a young teenager and she participated in several talent contests while growing up. After winning one of the singing competitions, she was signed by famous music manager Johnny Wright – the founder and CEO of Wright Entertainment Group. Beyond her budding music career, Katelyn is also known for being one half of a famous celebrity couple, with the other half being award-winning country music star Kane Brown.

Although best known by her stage name Katelyn Jae, the music star was born Katelyn Krapf on June 19, 1992. She was born and raised in Chester Springs, a community in Chester County, Pennsylvania. . There is not much information about her early studies, however, she is known to have started her musical career quite early. Her love for music became evident at a very young age and she got a karaoke machine when she was three years old. However, everyone in her family just assumed that music was just a hobby for her and no one ever took it seriously.
That all changed after she caught the attention of her choir teacher when she was in sixth grade. Jae delivered a captivating rendition of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” at the fall concert, after which the teacher recommended her parents to enroll her in voice and piano lessons. Her parents took this sage advice and enrolled her in singing, dancing and acting lessons. As expected, the talented youngster caught the entertainment bug easily and hasn’t looked back since.
Katelyn Jae was educated at Downingtown High School in Downingtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania. During this time she created, recorded and performed her own music and she also continued in this trend while studying at West Chester University in Pennsylvania. As a teenager, she was selected as one of the top five singers at the 2008 International Model and Talent Association conference. She was then selected among 23 singers to represent the United States at the 2010/2011 Avon Voices, an international singing competition exclusively for women. She also auditioned for hit music competitions like American Idol and The Voice
In 2012, she participated in the first season of the singing competition web series “Take the Stage”. Jae won the contest and as a result, she received a $20,000 prize in addition to a management contract with Wright Entertainment Group and YOBI.tv. As part of her record deal, Katelyn Jae was also able to train at the Florida-based music industry boot camp of Johnny Wright, the CEO of Wright Entertainment Group. The talented singer has also enrolled to study music management.
There are different reports about his ethnicity. While some reports say she is Caucasian, others say she is of mixed ethnicity.

Katelyn Jae is one of three relatives of her parentschildren; she has two brothers. Her parents divorced when she was much younger. Her mother’s name is Karen, however, information regarding her father is not available in media circles.

Katelyn Jae is known to be in a marital union with Kane Brown, a highly acclaimed country music singer and songwriter. The two reportedly met in 2015 through a mutual acquaintance and their relationship progressed quite quickly thereafter. However, they kept their romance under wraps until January 2017 when they revealed via social media that they were an item.
The perfect couple took their romance much higher when they announced they got engaged in April 2017. As revealed by Kane Brown, he spontaneously popped the big question as they both watched a movie on Easter Sunday. He then announced their engagement during a live concert in Jae’s hometown of Philadelphia.
Katelyn Jae and Kane Brown took their romance to a whole new level when they married on October 12, 2018. Theirs was an intimate wedding ceremony of around 200 guests that took place at Mint Springs Farm in Franklin , Tennessee. Shortly after tying the knot, the amorous groom revealed a tattoo of his wife’s name ‘Katelyn’ on his right hand.
